Model United Nation General Assembly postulated at ASMS
Asian School of Media Studies attained a new milestone while organizing a three day workshop of Model United Nation (MUN) to integrate the propaganda of UN with aspiring students of Asian School of Journalism & Mass Communication on 10th October 2016. This was a joint venture of ICMEI and Indian Federation of United Nations Associations (IFUNA).
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Ajay Kumar, the honorable Director of School of Mass Communication alongside Ms. Albeena Abbas (Associate Dean), Dr. Nawaz Ahmed (HOD), Mr. Parikshit Sethi (Chairman, MUN) and Mr. Ashutosh Kapoor (Secretary General, MUN).
The General Assembly found its embedded horizon while Mr. Sandeep Marwah, the honorable President of ASMS and patron of IFUNA, shared his words of wisdom, knowledge and vision. Mr. Sandeep Marwah also mentioned the 19 films that Asian Education Group (AEG) has already crafted with the UN.
MUN Conference was a stepping stone for the students to understand the structural, organizational, behavioral and functional allies of UN. The first two days of the workshop were about the cultivation and scheming of UN vision, mission and modus operandi.

The MUN General Assembly propelled the articulation of the workshop to next level on the third day of the workshop. It replicated the floor of UN General Assembly with synonymous scale and gesture. The pressing issues pertaining to cross-border terrorism, interference by China, SAARC and many international agendas were addressed at the MUN General Assembly.
The students of School of Mass Communication participated in varied capacities, such as the Organizing Committee, International Press and Honorable Delegates of 30 UN Member Nations adjoining seven tectonic plates. MUN honored all the students, participating as member country representatives, as the Best Delegates based on their capacitive performances. Mr. Sandeep Marwah also announced an official visit to IFUNA for the best student delegates in coming days.
