The number of Indian movies produced each year is the highest in the world and Bollywood, as the Mumbai based Hindi film industry is popularly known, is undoubtedly the biggest contributor to this number. In terms of number of films, quality of films, investment and revenue generation, Bollywood is undoubtedly the biggest player in the Indian film industry. Every year, thousands of people from all corners of the country come to Mumbai to get a chance to work in the film industry. Few of them make a mark in Bollywood but most of them never get a chance to even prove their worth. It was a time, when people with least or no knowledge of film making used to come in the industry and learned the tricks of the tread by working in the industry. But things have changed. AAFT is located within the Noida film city that also houses the Marwah Studios. Marwah Studios is a state of the art film and television production facility that is equipped with advanced and most cutting edge technologies of audio visual medium. These are the reasons for which many Bollywood directors now prefer to shoot at the Marwah Studios and Noida film city. Therefore, while going through any of the courses that are conducted at AAFT our students get the opportunity to observe the working procedure of the Bollywood exponents and learn from them.
