The department of film
and TV of the Asian Academy of Film &
Television is part of the University of
Media Arts that is the only film university
in the country, dedicated for media studies.
Since we began our journey in 1993, the
department of film and TV at AAFT has maintained
a high standard of education and hence,
within a short period, we have earned the
rare distinction of being an ISO 9001:2000
certified film institute. Moreover, the
fact that we are affiliated by 125 year
old City
& Guilds of United Kingdom,
further proves the standard of film and
television education that is imparted by
our department of film and TV. This meticulous

Located within a film
city - The students of the department
of film and TV at AAFT enjoy the advantages
of being located within the Noida Film City,
that also houses the world famous Marwah
Studios. This studio is one of the busiest
studios in India today, with state of the
art facilities for film
and TV productions. Therefore, many
top of the line film and television directors
prefer to do their works at the Noida Film
City. Being a student of the department
