International Film & Television Research Centre (IFTRC)

Research at AAFT is a religious pursuit towards upliftment of the organization, the society around, our nation and the humanity in general. The Institute has been associated as a respected member of the Association of Indian Universities, the prestigious AICTE, several chambers of commerce, industry, research clubs, and training hubs. It is being increasingly viewed as one amongst the top of the line Research Institutes of the country in the domain of media arts.

AAFT’s International Film and Television Research Centre was founded in 1996, under the Directorship of Professor Sandeep Marwah. This research centre has earned a name for itself across the world by supporting the production of interesting and purposeful visual media programs. It aims to provide a stimulating research environment in which a coherent strategy of high quality research can be pursued, and integration between applied and theoretical projects can be facilitated. The Institute’s research centre has its own publication division where research papers, periodicals and books are brought out for distribution across the world.
