Sandeep Marwah Honored with ‘Pride of India’ at Goa
Goa: Sandeep Marwah renowned film and television personality honored with Pride of India Award Presented by Dharmabhushan Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji Maharaj of Satguru Foundation & Satguru Youth Federation at Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi, Gurupith, Goa in a grand function.
More than 20,000 people from Goa and all over India attended the event under the banner Vande Matram for the national unity and integration.
Sandeep Marwah is five times World record holder in media, has brought 60 international awards to the country, has been a founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, Asian Education Group and chairing around 100 film, television, media, social, art and culture organizations, citation read by the organizers.
“I am proud of Sandeep Marwah for his passion and enthusiasm when it comes to social awareness. His efforts have brought him many laurels. He has been a source of inspiration for millions of people in India and abroad,” said Sadguru Brahhmeshanandacharya Swamiji Maharaj.
“I feel more responsible towards my nation and extend my heartiest thanks to the residents of Goa who all have shown so much of love and respect on my visit to Goa,” said Sandeep Marwah accepting the award.
Manohar Parihar Union Minister for Defense Government of India, Shripad Nayak Union Minister for Ayush Government of India, Laxmi Narayan Pareskar Chief Minister of Goa, Partap Singh Rane Former Chief Minister for Goa and leader of the opposition, H.H. Acharya Lokesh Muni, Acharya Satyendra Narayan of Confederation of World Religion, Dr. Gopal Ji of Global Yog Alliance were the other recipients of the award.
