It was more than a dream coming true for School of Cinema students as not only they witnessed AAFT becoming the first Film, Television and Media Institute to launch its 100th session of media training on Aug 2nd, 2018 but also got a chance to interact with renowned Films & Television Actor, Sanjay Kapoor.
It was an interaction beyond words for School of Cinema as students couldn’t have asked for a better start for their new academic session. According to Sanjay Kapoor, it was due to sheer hard work and determination of Mr. Sandeep Marwah, President- Asian Education Group (AEG), that this dream turned into a reality. He also stated that it takes a lot of gumption to stand undeterred and provide 25 years of services to media education.
Having done superhits like ‘Raja’, ‘Mohabbat’, ‘Auzaar’, ‘Sirf Tum’, ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche’, ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’, ‘Luck by Chance’, ‘Shaandar’ and the most recent ‘Lust Stories’ and TV series ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’, Sanjay Kapoor addressed all the students quite spontaneously and answered questions from the inquisitive lot. He shared his experiences as a struggler during his early days in Bollywood and how his debut film ‘Prem’ got delayed for 5 years and how he kept is focus intact.
The event also witnessed the presence of Mr. Sandeep Marwah, who thanked everyone for contributing to the success of AAFT, and Mr. Akshay Marwah, CEO- Asian Education Group, who encouraged students to excel academically for a challenging tomorrow, along with complete faculty, administration and guests from Film & TV industry.
The excitement from the students was quite visible on Instagram as well where comments poured in as soon as the event got over. It was indeed a dream coming true for most of them as their enthusiasm reached another level.
