COURSE OUTLINE

Nutrition & Dietetics refer to the science of impact of food and nutrition on human health wherein experts use their insights to help people improve their health and make vital lifestyle changes.

This is an advanced course in nutrition and food science. Students are trained in areas like physiology, microbiology, nutrition in various stages of life, clinical and therapeutic nutrition, diet planning, food quality analysis, food processing techniques and advanced research methodologies. Students are to submit a dissertation in the final semester, which is a thorough research work and gives them opportunity to explore new topics as well as to dive deeper into their special areas of interest.
