Mohit Marwah

Managing Director

Akshay Marwah is Arts Educationist & the CEO of Asian Education Group. He is also the initiator of AAFT University, the first dedicated Film, Media & Arts University in India. His young and dynamic approach towards education methodologies has become the Asian Education Group's driving force.

He is an alumnus of New York Film School
He has also studied acting from Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, LondonHe has produced over 2000 short films.
He has won acclaim for his short films at the 24-hour filmmaking competition at the Budapest Film Festival from Oscar-winning director Jiri Menzel.

Akshay Marwah

CEO

Mohit Marwah is a renowned Bollywood actor and the managing director of Asian Academy of Film and Television. His management skills, creative insights and zestfulness has been a major contributing factor in the expansion of AAFT’s vision and ambit.

He is an alumnus of Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute
He has done some impactful work in movies like ‘Fugly’, ‘Raag Desh’, ‘Strangers in the Night’ and ‘Love Shots’ etc.

President

A renowned international media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah is hailed as the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and Asian Academy of Film and Television. He has seven world records to his credit. He is the producer of the largest number of short films globally and has also been associated with a vast number of television programs, feature films, and training films.

He has trained more than 19000 media professionals hailing from 145 countries in the world.

A recipient of numerous national and international awards, he has been christened as Global Cultural Minister. He is the President of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry and holds the post of the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts. He has also been appointed as the Chief Scout for India.

Campuses

AAFT, Noida campus

Amid lush green surroundings, AAFT is the only education hub located in the heart of the media centre of South Asian Continent – Noida Film City. This campus holds classes for Filmmaking, Acting, Journalism, Photography, Performing Arts and Advertising, PR & Event Management.

AAFT University, Raipur

Over the past two decades, AAFT has graduated from being a private film school to a full-fledged University. Established in 2018 under the aegis of Marwah Studios, AAFT University of Media and Arts is the first ever Film and Creative Arts University, It has a sprawling campus in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and boasts of high-tech computer labs, research centres, enriched library, food court, etc.

Marwah Studios Complex II – Sector- 125, Noida

This campus houses Asian Business School (ABS), Asian School of Business (ASB), and Asian Law School. While ABS and ASB schools offer professional training in business administration and business management courses, Asian Law School is the first ever Media Law College of India.

Marwah Studios Complex III – sector 5, Noida

This campus, located in sector 5, holds classes for fashion designing, interior designing and animation courses. In 2014, Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism (AIHT) was established to offer advanced studies in hotel and tourism management. The classes for all the hospitality and tourism management courses are also held in this campus.

AAFT has collaborated with some of the renowned universities around the world to provide global exposure to our students.

For producing the largest number of short films in the world, i.e., 2600 Films and giving opportunity to more than 10,000 Media Professionals from more than 100 Countries of the World.

For covering 19th Queens Baton Relay from Wagah border to Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi by covering 28 states, 5 Union Territories, 20,000 kms, 300 events, 900 cities and during the period clicking 10,000 pictures and engaging in 1000 hours of film making. 102 Radio Programs and 102 Short films were made in 102 days for World Broadcast.

For organizing 95 Festivals of Short Digital Films. AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films is the only Festival in the world which has touched 95th edition and has given opportunity to 2399 new Directors to showcase their debut films. More than 10,000 technicians from more than 100 countries of the world have participated in these festivals.

History

Asian Academy of Film and Television was established in 1993 with the sole aim of creating a whole new generation of professionals by training the students in all aspects of cinema and creative arts.
