Crackdown: The Gaming Tournament
Crackdown Tournament has been first of its kind in the history of ASMS, organized by School of Animation. It’s a PC Gaming Competition conducted during 5th Global Festival of Journalism NOIDA, 2017 at Marwah Studios Complex. Inside this tournament, ‘Call Of Duty’ game was designed to be played with multi-player teams on different Game Maps.
This competition was a student-centric event where multiple teams compete, where gaming skill holder is the main predict for the winner. The different teams of students from different schools of ASMS competed in the gaming zone. The tournament consisted of different levels for all the players like League Matches, Top Scorers rounds, Wild-Card rounds, Knock-Out rounds, Semi-Finals and Final.
The inter-school tournament aimed at providing an opportunity for students from a variety of backgrounds (cinema, fashion, journalism, advertising, animation, fine arts, etc) to participate in Crackdown and demonstrate their game-skills. Furthermore, it provided the participants with an opportunity to put their creativity, strategy, competition, dominance skills and spirit to the test by allowing them to showcase their talent and knowledge of the game.
Students showed great excitement to participate with their peers from other schools within ASMS in this innovative activity of learning, performing and scoring.
