AAFT FAQ

  • Ans. The admission process for full-time PG, UG and Diploma programs commences from October and continues till July. No Lateral Entry to the programs. Short Term Courses of 3 months duration and 1 year Diplomas are conducted 4 times in a year, which is January-March, April-June, July-September and October-December.   • Ans. During registration, only photocopy or scanned copy of education documents and recent color passport size photographs are required to be submitted along with the Application Form. It normally takes 3-5 working days to process the form. For details on the documentation list, visit Admission Requirements.
  • Ans. Yes, a student may apply provisionally for any course but needs to produce all the original mark sheets/ degrees at the time of admission.
  • Ans. The selection procedure comprises of Aptitude Test followed by Personal Interview. The entrance test is objective type and will be based on general awareness of the program applied for. Applicants must make themselves aware of the course and subject requirements prior to taking the entrance test.
  • Ans. To be selected for admission to any program, an applicant must clear the Aptitude Test and the Interview stage. Registration Fee is adjusted with the Confirmation Fee to be paid during admission. If any candidate is unsuccessful in both, the entrance test and the interview, the registration fee will be refunded after deducting the application processing fee.
  • Ans. No, the Skype facility is not available for the selection process. The physical presence of the applicant in the selection process is mandatory. The provision for Online Aptitude Test and Telephonic Interview has been extended to the Outstation/ Foreign/ NRI candidates only.
  • Ans. The Application status, Interview schedule as well as the Performance Report is communicated to all the applicants on the registered email address with the Admissions Department. Only the successful candidates are issued a soft copy of the Admission Letter through email.
  • Ans. For fee payment you may either avail online payment or make the payment with DD/ NEFT/ RTGS at Accounts Office.
  • Ans. Partial payments are not accepted. The selected candidate is required to pay first semester fee as well as academic security fee (if any) in full as per the deadline specified in the Admission Letter.
  • Ans. If you are not able to pay the fee within the specified date due to some valid reason, you are required to approach the Admissions Department. Depending upon the availability of seats, further extension of date may be considered.
  • Ans. A student needs to carry all the mark sheets as well as essential credentials in original along with the previous receipts.

  • Ans. Not at the moment.
  • Ans. The Institute believes that the financial limitations are not allowed to restrict career dreams. In view of that, our institution provides assistance to all domestic candidates by giving Admission Letter, Fee Structure Details, Bonafide Certificate and Result Card of Entrance Examination of University (required by Banks).
  • Ans. Yes. Nationals from over 120 countries so far have studied at AAFT including countries like Jordan, Lebanon, Nepal, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, UK and USA.
  • Ans. Admissions Department judge the suitability of the candidate on the basis of information supplied with the admission. The applicant should have completed mandatory education in his/her country, in addition to possessing working knowledge of English language at the time of seeking admission. The admission process and the documentation are common to all applicants.
  • Ans . Admission Letter issued to selected international candidates will help them in VISA process. Upon arrival in India, they need to collect a Bonafide Letter from ASMS (where FSIS ID of the applicant is mentioned) and get it registered in FRO (Foreign Registration Office) within 14 days.
  • Ans. Foreign students are advised to take medical insurance in their own country, or do so upon arrival in India.
  • Ans. AAFT follows semester system which is in conformity with global practices and standards.
  • Ans. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in the examinations. Attendance of a student is calculated from the date of commencement of program or date of fee payment (whichever is later).
  • Ans. The institute assures 100% placement assistance. Campus selections are arranged from time to time for students of all programs. In order to be eligible for the recruitment process, every student is required to achieve a minimum score. Refer our placement eligibility criteria.
  • Ans. No. The transport facility is available only for the resident students of the hostel.
  • Ans. Off-campus hostel accommodation is available for outstation candidates. A separate residential facility for boys and girls is available within 8 km of AAFT campus. Due to limited occupancy, hostel accommodation is not offered to applicants from Delhi and NCR.
  • Ans. Admission to the Hostel is done on a first come first serve basis. A student can apply for hostel seat during the registration by submitting 6 months advance. Hostel Fee is to be paid on a monthly basis and the amount is INR 11000/- inclusive of miscellaneous charges.
  • Ans. Hostel accommodation has well-ventilated rooms designed to accommodate students on twin sharing basis, where each room has attached washroom with modern sanitation facilities.
  • The hostel rooms have air conditioners for summers and water geysers for use in winters (only) as well as the essential furniture including single beds, bed mattress, study-tables, chairs and cupboards, enabling comfortable stay and to ensure a learning conducive environment. Hygiene and cleanliness of the rooms, floors, laundry and surroundings are taken care of by routine house-keeping services.

    Moreover, all rooms are networked and students are connected through a 24-hour Wi-Fi connection.

    Daily breakfast and dinner (lunch on declared institutional holidays) will be provided.

    The institute provides pick up and drop facilities to the resident students of the hostel. The transport timings pick up and departure from Campus are fixed and announced at the beginning of each academic year.
