Learn DSLR/mirrorless operations, sensor basics, lighting setups (key, fill, back), and core shot composition.

Explore cinematography terms, camera movements (dolly, gimbal), and LED/Fresnel lighting for mood control.

Master exposure tools (waveform, false color), lensing concepts, and digital imaging workflows (RAW, LOG, LUTs).

Apply Steadicam/drone techniques, ensure continuity in multi-cam shoots, and plan narratives through blocking and previs.

Use 3-point lighting, manage DIT workflows, and oversee production for short films, music videos, and branded content.

Build a professional showreel and lead a collaborative fiction/non-fiction film as Director of Photography.

Ans.: Students who have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) from any recognized Board of Education such as CBSE / ICSE / IGCSE / IB or State Board, can apply for admission to the cinematography degree program at AAFT.

Ans.: Applicants for the B.Sc in Cinema program are required to complete an application form and submit the necessary documents, including their academic marksheet and valid ID proof. Additionally, they must pay the registration fee. Upon submission, shortlisted candidates will be invited to take an online test, followed by a personal interview as part of the selection process.

Ans.: The duration of a Degree in Cinematography is 3 years.
