This is an experience-based course, which enables the student to gain a critical understanding of the art of acting and its relationship to cinematic art as a whole. Acting terminology, dramatic theories, and methods of analysis are introduced through participatory warm ups, theatre games, pair work, structured improvisations, monologue preparation and the performance of scripted scenes.

AAFT takes strident measures to organize periodic workshops to enrich the industry knowledge of students while exposing them to the views and insights of experts and veterans across multiple fields.
Ans.: Students who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (10+2) from any recognized Board of Education such as CBSE / ICSE / IGCSE / IB or State Board, can apply for admission to the acting degree program at AAFT.
Ans.: The duration of a Degree in Cinema with specialization in acting is 3 years.
