The B.Sc in Cinema (Specialization in Acting) program is designed to immerse students in the art and craft of performance for the screen. This course blends rigorous acting techniques with cinematic understanding, enabling aspiring actors to build strong foundations in character development, voice modulation, body language, improvisation, and on-camera performance.
With our 3-year B.Sc in Cinema (Specialization in Acting) program, students will learn about hands-on training in camera composition, visual effects, lighting, color grading, sound design, among others. Exclusive masterclasses with 1:1 mentoring sessions is a major highlight by renowned animators, industry deans and experts.
Our curriculum is industry-aligned and designed following a 70:30 assessment structure - with 70% focus on practical sessions and live projects and portfolio development and 30% on written assessments, strategic thinking and critical analysis. This program offers a holistic development of both artistic expression and intellectual understanding, preparing students for rewarding careers in animation, gaming and digital media.

Students who have completed their higher secondary (10+2) from any recognized Board of Education such as CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/IB or State Board, can apply for admission to the acting degree program at AAFT.
The duration of a Degree in Cinema with specialization in acting is 3 years.
