This movie direction program is designed to prepare students to individually direct and produce videos and films both individually and in-teams. The objective of this program is to make student understand the technicalities of filmmaking, movie production, movie direction and post-production as an independent director.

AAFT School of Cinema with high-end editing labs and studios. Our fully-equipped studios with high-end cameras and other equipment provide students an opportunity to face and handle cameras in real-time.
The School of Cinema is equipped with TV studios, RED Digital camera, tracks, trolleys, cranes along with HD / SD cameras.
AAFT organizes periodic workshops for the students to enrich the industry knowledge of students while exposing them to the views and insights of experts and veterans across multiple fields.
Ans.: Students who have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) from any recognized Board of Education such as CBSE / ICSE / IGCSE / IB or State Board, can apply for admission to filmmaking course at AAFT.
Ans.: The duration of the M. Sc in Cinema (Specialization in Direction) program is 2 years.
