ICMEI along with AAFT School of Fashion and Design organized 5th Global Fashion and Design Week where 200 of our fashion designing students showcased 700 garments from around the world.
Their collection was influenced by the culture of 52 different countries of the world. Some of the designs were influenced by the flora and fauna of Ghana. Other designers showcased their collections inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Montenegro, Israel, Lebanon, Bosnia and Herzegovina, United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Rwanda, Fiji, Bulgaria, Gambia, Maldives among others.
The two-day festival held at AAFT showcased important and popular films from Kyrgyzstan, which was followed by an exhibition of painting and a fascinating fashion show by the students of AAFT School of Fashion and Design inspired by the culture of Kyrgyzstan.
