She is UGC NET qualified and presently pursuing her PhD in Mass Communication. Ms Akanksha has secured a masters degree in Communication Advertising and Journalism from IK Gujral Punjab Technical University and Post Graduate Diploma in Radio and Television from AAFT, Noida.

She started her career as a Storyboard/Storyteller, writer and has worked in different capacities and roles. She later moved to academics and joined Galgotias University.
