Kirti is a screenplay writer, director and educator, & an alumnus of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. She has written and directed short films, documentaries, music videos, ad films and been part of feature films. Her short film 'JWALANT/ABLAZE' and 'MAMATVA/MOTHERHOOD', have traveled to 40+ National & International Film Festivals, including a selection in the prestigious Indian Panorama category at the 50th IFFI Goa, IDSFFK Thiruvananthapuran, KIFF Kolkata, DIFF Dhaka, Kinoproba Russia, IMAGINEINDIA Spain among others and won accolades.
