Mohammad graduated in Mass Media from Jamia Millia Islamia,New Delhi. He studied Arts & Aesthetics in Masters programme from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He also did his Post Graduation in Film Direction(3 years) from Film and Television institute of India, Pune. He has directed quite a number of short films and documentaries.He has also taught at ICE Balaji as a faculty of direction and screenplay
