Assistant Professor (Yoga)

Ms. Dimpy Kapoor is an Internationally acclaimed Yoga Educator, Researcher and an Academic theorist, holding more than 8 years of experience. Formerly, she has worked as a Research Fellow for All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Ministry of AYUSH and has also written research paper with AIIA and IIT, Delhi on ‘Investing Neural correlates of Humming Bee sound during Bhramari Pranayama’.

She first discovered Yoga in summer 2012 and began her path of teaching after completing her first Degree in Yoga Science from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Ministry of AYUSH. She has done Post Graduation in Yoga Science and aiming to get a Doctorate degree in the same. She’s also a certified Yoga Teacher and Evaluator from Yoga Certification Board (YCB), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India (GoI) and Level 2 qualified Yoga Teacher from (QCI) Quality Council of India, Indian Yoga Association. Other than Yoga she’s a Certified Reiki Grandmaster and a healer of ‘Access Bar Consciousness’.

Over the years she has taught Yoga in the Ministry of Defense; Commerce; Power; Communications & IT; Foreign Service Institute, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga and Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy. Besides working with the Ministry she has taught in the Tammanna special school (for Autistic children) and Gargi College, Delhi University.

On International scale she has worked with the Korean Cultural Centre, Embassy of the Republic of Korea; (ICCR) Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Ministry of External Affairs as Teacher of Indian Culture in the Assistant High Commission of India, Rajshahi, Bangladesh and High Commission of India, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

She loves to keep her creative juices flowing and to help people with Yoga Therapy with their muscular imbalances and disorders. She aims to inspire her students to expand their potential physically, intellectually, spiritually and therapeutically.
