With 20+ years of experience in Indian classical music, Kshitij Mathur is a Graded Artist with All India Radio .... (Light & Classical Vocal) and holds Sangeet Alankar from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi and Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. His work extends beyond performance. Kshitij has contributed to nationally significant musical projects, including composing “Jai Bharat” to commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram and India’s 77th Republic Day (2026). He also served as Head & Supervisor for the anthem “Nyay Ka Ujala” for the Ministry of Home Affairs Tableaux at the 77th Republic Day. His recognitions include the Outlook Responsible Tourism Award 2025 and the Star Education Award 2025, powered by the Times of India Group. He has also been a scholarship holder of Sahitya Kala Parishad, Government of Delhi, and the State Trading Corporation of India. Having mentored 1,000+ students globally, Kshitij brings together the depth of classical music with a practical understanding of creativity, discipline, performance, and contemporary musical practice.

Mohit Arora

Head of Department

Mohit Arora is a Drummer, Educator, and Music Professional with experience in performance, music education, and event .... management. He is a Certified Trainer from Trinity College London (India) with a prestigious certification in Drumming and is also certified in Event Management from FICCI Education. He serves as Event Coordinator with Trinity College London (India), contributing to music education and performance initiatives. Mohit has performed with renowned artist Mika Singh and iconic Indian bands including Euphoria Band and Swastik Band. His studio work includes collaboration with Guru Randhawa, while his session work includes recording for independent musicians such as Albert John on the track Bandeya. He has also performed at the Opening Ceremony of the International Cyber Gaming Championship (ICGC) in Goa. Before moving into music education and performance, Mohit worked as a Software Engineer at HCL. He brings this mix of technical and creative experience into his work with students, helping them develop discipline, creativity, and a practical understanding of the music industry.

Kunal Shourie

Assistant Professor

Kunal Shourie brings over 11 years of professional experience and a music career spanning more than 20 years. He holds .... a BBA, MU and Diploma in Performing Arts, with specialisation in Recording Arts, Music Production, Sound Designing, Mixing and Mastering Audio. He started his career as a professional DJ and has performed at over 1,000 gigs across India and internationally. For over a decade, he has performed at music festivals including Sunburn (Goa), Magnetic Fields (Rajasthan), and Kala Utsavam (Singapore). A Professional Sound Engineer & Music Producer since 2005, Kunal has produced, mixed, and mastered songs for artists and bands including Shibani Kashyap, Punkh Band, Groove Adda, and Bandish. He has also worked with Beat Factory Academy, Muzik Factory Studios, and High Music Academy / Studios, giving students practical insight into professional music production and sound.

Shashank Gautam

Assistant Professor

Shashank Gautam has 8 years of experience in music education and performance. He holds an MA in Vocal Music, BA in .... Vocal Music, Prabhakar in Vocal & Tabla from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and Visharad in Vocal Music from Lucknow Bhatkhande Vidyapeeth, Lucknow. He has worked with Indian Ocean Band and Divya Datta – PTC Punjabi, and has performed at Baiju Bawra Sangeet Samaroh. He has also been associated with Sanskar Bharti and Sangeet Natak Academy. With a strong background in Vocal Music and Tabla, Shashank adapts his teaching to students' learning needs. He explains concepts in a simple and clear way, helping students strengthen their musical skills through structured learning and practical experience.

Mr. Umesh Bisht

Umesh Bisht is an educator and musician with 7 years of experience, focusing on Voice Preservation, contemporary .... performance practices, and trend analysis for artists. He holds Grade 8, Classical Vocals and a B.Tech (Computer Science). His training in Western classical music includes working with accomplished educators such as Ms Ruth Key Thaipei, Ms Ashmitha Jasper and Ms Nadezhda Balyan. Umesh's approach to music and teaching is based on artistic freedom, creative exploration, and a balance of rigid technique. He encourages students to develop strong vocal skills while finding their own artistic voice and understanding contemporary performance practices.

Chhavi Srivastava

An accomplished Hindustani vocalist, Chhavi Srivastava brings robust academic and performance experience to the .... classroom. She is a B High Grade Ghazal Artist with Akashvani Lucknow, a National Level Winner of Sangamkala and Surtarang, and a State Level Winner in Indian Classical Music at Sangeet Natak Akademi. She has performed alongside celebrated artists including Malini Awasthi, Anup Jalota, and Rajan & Sajan Mishra, and has appeared at platforms such as the International Chief Justice Conference and Indo-Iraq Film & Cultural Forum. With an MA in Hindustani Vocal and advanced qualifications from reputed universities, she helps students build vocal technique, performance discipline, and a strong foundation in music theory and history.

Nitesh Kumar

Assistant Professor (Music Production)

Nitesh Kumar brings over 5 years of hands-on experience in Music Production and Audio Engineering. He has strong .... technical expertise in music production, recording, editing, mixing and sound design, with proficiency in industry-standard DAWs and a primary focus on Ableton Live. His practical and industry-oriented approach helps students understand real-world audio workflows and build professional skills. He focuses on connecting technical learning with actual music production practices, giving students a clear understanding of how audio projects are developed and produced. Nitesh also mentors students as they prepare for careers in audio and music, helping them build technical skills while developing their creative confidence.

Ansh Jayvardhan

Assistant Professor

Ansh Jayvardhan is a Music Producer and Sound Designer with 6 years of experience. He specialises in Hip Hop, Found .... Sound Production and Electronic Music, with thorough knowledge of Ableton Live, Logic Pro and FL Studio. He holds a BSc in Electronic Media and a Diploma in Audio Engineering & Music Production. Ansh has worked with theatre groups such as Rangbhoomi and Rangmandap, as well as dance crews across Delhi/NCR. With over 2 decades of experience across theatre, dance, music and filmmaking, he brings a broad creative perspective to music production. His teaching approach focuses on aesthetics and ethics, helping students understand the creative and responsible sides of music production. His experience across different creative fields also helps students see how music connects with performance, storytelling, and visual media.
